Whistleblower System

At Worldsensing, we are committed to conducting business around the world in a responsible, transparent and ethical way, and always complying with applicable laws and internal guidelines as well as the principles detailed in our Code of Ethics. 

This also includes offering opportunities for anonymous reporting and communication. 

Being a responsible company, our priority is to identify and prevent potential misconduct as soon as possible. 

Our Whistleblower system provides several channels to report serious concerns of potential misconduct, wrongdoing or any activities within the organisation which may be in breach of the law or Compliance systems. 

IMPORTANT: 

Please note that concerns, feedback, enquiries or questions regarding products, as well as complaints about services provided by Worldsensing cannot be processed through the Whistleblower system that is intended solely for reporting possible incidents of non-compliance. Other matters cannot be dealt with using this process.

 Reporting communication channels 

We have several communication channels available to reporting: 

Worldsensing declares that all reports, whether submitted anonymously or not, will be treated with full respect for all legally applicable warranties, including the presumption of innocence, impartiality, legality, confidentiality, and the prohibition of retaliation. The procedure is internally established and publicly disclosed in the Worldsensing Policy on the internal regulation of Whistleblowing system

Data protection 

All the personal data received through any of the  communication channels duly enabled will be treated based on legal obligation (6.1.c) of GDPR) established by the Spanish Law 2/2023 of 20 February. The personal data will be treated only for the limited purpose to conduct the internal investigations and will not be treated for any other purpose. Only the persons expressly authorised by law will have access. 

The retention period is established by law and shall not exceed 3 (three) months or 6 (six) months in case of the complex investigation. After the retention period all the personal data shall be anonymized. The result of the internal investigation shall be communicated to the person who submitted a report. In case any of the administrative responsibility and/or criminal responsibility may arise, then Worldsensing shall immediately report to the public authority and communicate the personal data to the corresponding authority based on the legal obligation. 

At any time the data subjects may exercise the following rights with regard to their personal data: access, rectification, erasure,restriction of processing, objection, portability, decision on automated processing, information and claims.
