LS-G6-DIG-2

Digital logger

The digital logger brings the advantages of electronics to the geotechnical world. It can easily connect a wireless network of in-place inclinometres (IPIs) on a chain in a hole or excavation, multipoint borehole extensometers (MPBX) and other sensors from leading manufacturers.

FAQ’s

01

Can I connect a SDI-12 sensor to a Worldsensing digital logger?

The hardware of the digital logger is ready to support SDI-12 sensors but the drivers have not been implemented yet so currently it is not possible to read SDI 12 sensors. We would be glad to hear from you though on the type and number of SDI-12 sensors you would like to connect and your desired application so we can work with you for a solution.

02

Is it possible to power the digital logger using an external power source?

Although the Worldsensing digital loggers, like all the other Worlsensing edge devices, are meant to run on internal batteries, it is assumed that the power demand of some sensors, especially long chains of sensors that have to sample at a high frequency, require an external power source that can last for longer periods of time without disturbance. For those cases, it is possible to power the logger and the sensors through an external battery or mains if available. Contact us for more details.
