Complete end-to-end event detection solution that allows you to catch any real-time deviations and trigger automatic events to prevent or minimize the risks of ground movement.
All the building blocks for an efficient Early Warning System
Use real-time, triaxial tilt monitoring of ground structures powered by edge threshold analysis to detect any early deviations in ground movement. Long-range and battery-operated, lasting up to 10 years with minimal maintenance.
Complement water level sensor data with weather information by connecting a weather station to the same Thread X3.
Connect a Worldsensing field camera to have visual information on possible flooding events. Set triggers based on sensor data to activate the camera when needed.
Leverage the power of Worldsensing Thread X3, a fully autonomous connectivity station with integrated 4G/LTE cellular modem, mesh and Ethernet communications and battery pack in a weather-resistant enclosure.
Streamline your early warning system operations with CMT Cloud & Thread Manager. Whether you’re using private networks or cloud-based solutions, the software allows you to manage your network, devices, and data all in one centralized platform.
Effortlessly stream your data from CMT Cloud & Thread Manager to a third-party visualization tool to trigger alerts via email or mobile app, activate cameras connected to the ThreadX3, and integrate it with other alarm systems for a comprehensive response.
The Early Warning System is easily set up and configured. A connect-and-collect solution that minimizes deployment times and maintenance costs.
A robust absolute-threshold algorithm embedded in the Tiltmeter continuously compares incoming readings against predefined threshold values on each axis. When deviations exceed these limits, an alert state is triggered and transmitted via LoRa networks. During alert conditions, data transmission frequency can increase up to 30 seconds.
The Tiltmeter sends data to Worldsensing’s CMT platform, where alerts are integrated into a third-party software environment. This enables automated actions like SMS or email notifications, machine-to-machine (M2M) commands (e.g.: road closures, gate control, pump adjustments), and activating of cameras or video recording systems, supporting fast data-driven decision-making.
Control sensors connect through Thread X3, enabling threshold-based alarms that can automatically trigger actions such as camera activation for structure assessment. Thread X3 can also integrate additional instruments like weather stations and total stations, enriching alert strategies in Worldsensing’s software partner with environmental and high-precision positioning data.
Deploy your Early Warning Systems in multiple locations and integrate data for event detection and structural monitoring.
Slope stability depends on the ability of soil masses to withstand their own weight, external loads, and varying water conditions, including flow and hydrostatic pressure. Worldsensing Early Warning System continuously monitors ground movement and stability, enabling rapid response when potential risks are detected.
In high mountain areas, rockfalls are a key part of landscape changes and pose a major risk to people and infrastructure. The Worldsensing Early Warning System provides real-time, remote monitoring of cliff stability, helping to detect and manage potential hazards.
Aging infrastructure can be affected by ground movements linked to climate change, increasing the risk of structural instability. The Worldsensing Early Warning System enables continuous monitoring of buildings and infrastructure, enhancing safety and supporting timely intervention.
Discover how Worldsensing has made a positive impact, providing reliable solutions and exceptional support.
The set-up and installation was extremely simple. The data could be immediately transferred to the evaluation and visualization system. Its main advantage is its ability to send radio signals from under manholes and over a long distance.Read success story

In spite of being installed in boreholes with steel covers, or behind the body of the dam with no line of sight to the gateway, the Worldsensing nodes are able to transmit data without the need for repeaters.Read success story

We haven’t had to change the batteries yet. The Worldsensing devices in our project draw very little power and vibrating wire piezometers also require little power compared to other instruments. We expect the solution to easily have a 10-year battery life.Read success story

Worldsensing products are very easy to use. We can connect any type of sensor: strain gauges, extensometers, piezometers… we often install simultaneously with other trades on site, being able to connect to the logger in just a few minutes saves the customer time and money.Read success story

Our customer needed to cover a landfill area of nearly two miles, and although they required solar-powered gateways, they needed data nodes that did not require constant maintenance. We selected the Worldsensing wireless data acquisition system due to its long-range radio, low power consumption, easy implementation and ability to read multiple types of sensors.Read success story
