Complete end-to-end solution that allows you to detect real-time deviations and trigger automatic events to prevent or minimize risks of ground movements.
Using Worldsensing wireless tiltmeters with event detection capabilities and real-time connectivity with the leading data visualization software Sensemetrics, you can focus on delivering a valuable Early Warning System relying on an easy-to-deploy solution for ground movements monitoring.
Detect deviations from normal conditions within 2 seconds of a threshold breach using a robust, low power, long-range monitoring network.
Automate data-driven decisions such as camera activation, sirens or other data-intensive control systems based on real-time data.
Define and configure threshold-based alerts that can automatically trigger notifications via SMS and email. Visualize and act upon your data using leading data visualization tools readily integrated.
All the building blocks for an efficient Early Warning System
Use real-time, tri-axial tilt monitoring of ground structures powered with edge threshold analysis to detect early deviations in ground movements. Long-range and battery operated: last up to 10 years with minimum maintenance required.
Complement water level sensor data with weather information connecting a weather station to the same ThreadX3.
Connect a Worldsensing field camera to have visual information on possible flooding events. Set triggers based on sensor data to activate the camera when needed.
Leverage the power of our ThreadX3, a fully autonomous connectivity station with integrated 4G/LTE cellular modem, mesh and Ethernet communications and battery pack in a weather resistant enclosure.
Streamline your early warning system operations with CMT. Whether you’re using private networks or cloud-based solutions, CMT allows you to manage your network, devices, and data all in one centralized platform.
Effortlessly stream data from CMT to Bentley’s visualization tool to trigger alerts via email or mobile app, activate cameras connected to the Thread X3, and integrate with other alarm systems for a comprehensive response.
The Early Warning System is easily set up and configured. A connect-and-collect solution that minimizes deployment times and maintenance costs.
A robust absolute-threshold algorithm embedded in the Tiltmeter continuously compares the last readings to a set of threshold values for any given axis. When a difference lays outside the threshold, the alert state is triggered in the device via LoRa networks. The data transfer in the alert state can increase up to 30 seconds.
The Tiltmeter sends data to Worldsensing’s CMT layer, which integrates alerts into Sensemetrics software. This triggers actions like SMS or email notifications, M2M commands (e.g.: road closures, gate control, pump adjustments), or even activating cameras or video recording.
Control sensors connect to the system via ThreadX3, triggering threshold-based alarms that activate cameras for ground structure assessment. ThreadX3 also powers a weather station and total station, enhancing alert strategies in Sensemetrics with weather and precise positioning data.
Deploy your systems in multiple locations and integrate data for early warning monitoring.
Slope stability deals with soil mass stability: an inclined mass of soil needs to withstand its own weight, surcharge, and water conditions, either flow or hydrostatic. Worldsensing Early Warning System monitors ground movement and stability as well as allows fast response in case a potential risk is identified.
Rockfalls are a major aspect concerning morphodynamics in high mountain areas and represent a serious hazard for people and infrastructure. By using Worldsensing Early Warning System, the ground stability in cliffs can be monitored remotely in real-time.
Aging infrastructure sag under the pressure of ground movements generated by climate change and poses a risk on building stability. The Worldsensing Early Warning System is the perfect solution to monitor infrastructure and to increase safety.
Discover how Worldsensing has made a positive impact, providing reliable solutions and exceptional support.
The set-up and installation was extremely simple. The data could be immediately transferred to the evaluation and visualization system. Its main advantage is its ability to send radio signals from under manholes and over a long distance.Read success story

In spite of being installed in boreholes with steel covers, or behind the body of the dam with no line of sight to the gateway, the Worldsensing nodes are able to transmit data without the need for repeaters.Read success story

We haven’t had to change the batteries yet. The Worldsensing devices in our project draw very little power and vibrating wire piezometers also require little power compared to other instruments. We expect the solution to easily have a 10-year battery life.Read success story

Worldsensing products are very easy to use. We can connect any type of sensor: strain gauges, extensometers, piezometers… we often install simultaneously with other trades on site, being able to connect to the logger in just a few minutes saves the customer time and money.Read success story

Our customer needed to cover a landfill area of nearly two miles, and although they required solar-powered gateways, they needed data nodes that did not require constant maintenance. We selected the Worldsensing wireless data acquisition system due to its long-range radio, low power consumption, easy implementation and ability to read multiple types of sensors.Read success story
