PROVIDE NEAR REAL-TIME INFORMATION

Detect deviations from normal conditions within 2 seconds of a threshold breach using a robust, low power, long range monitoring network.

AUTOMATE DECISION-MAKING

Automate data-driven decisions such as camera activation, sirens or other data-intensive control systems based on real-time data.

KEEP EVERYONE INFORMED

Define and configure threshold-based alerts that can automatically trigger notifications via SMS and email. Visualise and act upon your data using leading data visualization tools readily integrated.

CONNECT-AND-COLLECT

All the building blocks for an efficient Early Warning System

Edge-processing monitoring

Real-time, tri-axial tilt monitoring of ground structures powered with edge threshold analysis to detect early deviations in ground movements. Long-range and battery operated: last up to 10 years with minimum maintenance required.

Real time event detection

Alert messages with minimum latency of 2s.
Real-time data visualization using MQTT protocols via CMT to Sensemetrics

Multi-channel Communication

Set alert notifications via SMS or e-mail.
Use the Sensemetrics mobile App to receive and configure your alarms and notifications.

Automated control systems

Connect cameras, sirens and other control systems to trigger responses to the alarms.
Connect other data-intensive sensors to a Worldsensing ThreadX3.
Use M2M strategies to automatically trigger cameras, sirens and other control systems.

Areas of Application

Deploy your systems in multiple locations and integrate data for early warning monitoring

Slopes and Embankments

Slope stability deals with soil mass stability: an inclined mass of soil needs to withstand its own weight, surcharge, and water conditions, either flow or hydrostatic. Worldsensing Early Warning system monitors ground movement and stability as well as allows fast response in case a potential risk is identified.

Cliffs

Rockfalls are a major aspect concerning morphodynamics in high mountain areas and represent a serious hazard for people and infrastructure. By using Worldsensing Early Warning System, the ground stability in cliffs can be monitored remotely in real-time.

Building Stability

Aging infrastructure sags under the pressure of ground movements generated by climate change and poses a risk on building stability. The Worldsensing Early Warning system is the perfect solution to monitor critical infrastructure and to increase safety.

How it works

An integrated monitoring solution

A seamless data flow from sensors to platform for better data-based decision making.

Real-time Monitoring

A robust absolute-threshold algorithm embedded in the Tilti90-XE continuously compares the last readings to a set of threshold values for any given axis. When a difference lays outside the threshold, the alert state is triggered in the device via LoRa networks. The data transfer in the alert state can increase up to 30 s.

Data and Alert Management

The information travels from the Tiltit90-XE to Worldsensing's CMT layer. CMT enables the integration of these alerts into Sensemetrics data visualization software to trigger actions based on the detected events. These can be: SMS or email messages; M2M messaging: road closure, close gate, stop hydraulic pumps in a jacking system or decrease/increase pressure, take a picture/start video recording

Automated Control Systems

A series of control-sensors are connected to the overall systems through a ThreadX3. Threshold-based alarms can activate a camera to take pictures of the area to assess deeply the state of the ground structure and the level of risks. The same ThreadX3 can power a robust weather station to include weather data, and a total station for more accurate positioning, into the alert strategies on Sensemetrics.
