Device Preconfiguration

About

The preconfiguration service is available for Worldsensing Wireless Sensors (tiltmeters and laser tilt device) and includes the following:

• Connecting the edge device to the Worldsensing App. The configuration options will depend on the type of Worldsensing Edge Device connected.
• Taking a sample reading.
• Configuring the network (i.e. radio type, sampling rate, region, network size).
• Enabling the network ID and password.

Benefits

• Get devices up and running on project sites as quickly as possible.
• Receive devices which are pre-configured by Worldsensing before shipping.
• Greatly reduce the time needed for installing and activating devices to ensure that measurement data starts flowing without delay.
