RADIO-OIL project aims to integrate radio transducers into the Spidernano product, and thus provide real-time data transmission from seismic streams. So far, a novel communications protocol has been successfully defined for taking advantage of Time Synchronized Channel Hopping (TSCH) techniques. This step forward has made it possible to develop a communication stack that can deliver streams of seismic data to the central control station from hundreds of Spidernano devices, which are deployed in a real monitoring scenario.
