A connect-and-collect, compact weather monitoring solution, validated by Worldsensing, that complements geotechnical systems, improves risk assessment, and integrates seamlessly with Worldsensing networks.
Modular solution for weather monitoring leveraging the wireless data transmission of Loadsensing Piconode and cost-effective weather sensors.
Measure temperature, humidity, and rainfall data critical for geotechnical monitoring.
Operate using the Piconode battery for hassle-free, long-term performance.
Use modular weather monitoring bundles and pre-mounted hardware for fast installation and easy adaptation to project needs.
Rely on cost-effective, Worldsensing-validated compatibility for smooth network integration.
All the building blocks for an efficient weather monitoring solution
The Piconode is a compact, cost-effective wireless data logger designed for low-power sensors. In the Weather Kit, it powers the rain gauge and temperature-humidity sensor while ensuring reliable data transmission.
The LS-ACC-S-TEMPHUM is a high-precision atmospheric temperature and humidity sensor designed for basic air measurements. It features a waterproof, UV-resistant housing and can be fitted with an 11-plate radiation shield to protect the sensors from solar radiation and rain.
Durable high-strength ABS rain gauge with low-resistance tipping bucket for precise rainfall measurement. It includes a bracket mounting with screw rods to ensure accuracy. Lightweight and reliable, it offers pulse output with 2 mm/min accuracy for demanding environmental monitoring.
Streamline your environmental data with CMT. Whether you’re using private networks or cloud-based solutions, CMT allows you to manage your network, devices, and data all in one centralized platform.
Choose from different weather kit configurations, each designed to deliver essential weather data. All kits come with a mounting pole for easy installation in a compact solution.
Full weather monitoring package, ideal for geotechnical projects where rainfall, temperature, and humidity jointly influence slope stability or settlement.
Delivers just the essential atmospheric parameters, making it ideal for environments where rainfall is less relevant—such as tunnels or underground works—where temperature and humidity directly affect structural health and worker safety.
Limited to rainfall measurement only, a critical factor in open-pit mining sites or flood-prone slopes, where tracking rain events helps anticipate ground movement and prevent failures.
Enhance geotechnical monitoring with the Piconode Weather Kit. Track weather conditions that trigger slope, structural, and flood risks. Deploy your systems in multiple locations and integrate weather data for early warning monitoring.
Combine ground movement monitoring with weather data—such as rainfall, wind, and temperature—to understand triggers of slope instability. Early detection of heavy rain or rapid temperature changes helps predict landslides and informs preventive actions.
Track temperature and humidity in tunnels, underground works, and other structures where atmospheric conditions affect materials and safety. Insights from weather monitoring complement structural data to anticipate stress, moisture-related degradation, and long-term wear.
Measure rainfall to anticipate water-related risks in open areas, riverbanks, or flood-prone slopes. Integrating weather data with geotechnical monitoring improves flood prediction and helps plan interventions to prevent failures.
Discover how Worldsensing has made a positive impact, providing reliable solutions and exceptional support.
The set-up and installation was extremely simple. The data could be immediately transferred to the evaluation and visualization system. Its main advantage is its ability to send radio signals from under manholes and over a long distance.Read success story

In spite of being installed in boreholes with steel covers, or behind the body of the dam with no line of sight to the gateway, the Worldsensing nodes are able to transmit data without the need for repeaters.Read success story

We haven’t had to change the batteries yet. The Worldsensing devices in our project draw very little power and vibrating wire piezometers also require little power compared to other instruments. We expect the solution to easily have a 10-year battery life.Read success story

Worldsensing products are very easy to use. We can connect any type of sensor: strain gauges, extensometers, piezometers… we often install simultaneously with other trades on site, being able to connect to the logger in just a few minutes saves the customer time and money.Read success story

Our customer needed to cover a landfill area of nearly two miles, and although they required solar-powered gateways, they needed data nodes that did not require constant maintenance. We selected the Worldsensing wireless data acquisition system due to its long-range radio, low power consumption, easy implementation and ability to read multiple types of sensors.Read success story
