Catalan business association, Feceminte, awards companies in honor of World Telecommunication and Information Society Day #wtisd

The Feceminte Connection Awards granted the “Premi CONNEXIÓ a la iniciativa empresarial” award to Internet of Things (IoT) pioneer and operational intelligence (OI) expert Worldsensing to recognize the company’s innovative business approach. The 19th award ceremony was held in Barcelona to celebrate the 50th World Telecommunication and Information Society Day (May 17th 2018), previously know as World Telecommunications day. This year’s event was attended by industry professionals who looked back on 50 years of telecommunications.

The “Premi CONNEXIÓ” award which has been held annually since 2000 on World Telecommunications Day aims to acknowledge companies, organizations and individuals who stand out for their contribution to technological, social or business developments within the telecommunications industry and Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in general.
