Technology provider and transport expert for oneTRANSPORT

March 2016

Worldsensing part of oneTRANSPORT project
The oneTRANSPORT project aims to deliver an open, standardised platform to support multi-modal transport by delivering real-time travel data. The project is being delivered by a consortium of 11 partners including Worldsensing (through its subsidiary Worldsensing Ltd), InterDigital, Arup, a group of UK county councils, Highways England and Imperial College. The platform can be accessed by subscribers, transport authorities, application developers and others to create products and services which will help improve travel experiences. oneTRANSPORT is not another ‘app’; it is an eco-system that reduces barriers to entry and opens up the market place for improved travel services.
Again, Worldsensing is leading the industry through innovation
Worldsensing is participating in this initiative as technology provider and transport expert. Indeed, the knowledge acquired after many years of engineering and consulting in the transport industry puts us in a unique position to contribute to the oneTRANSPORT consortium. Together we will create a perfect ecosystem where several public and private entities are able to cooperate with common goals: to improve the national mobility system in the UK and to boost the transport sector.
