Overview

Aligned with Worldsensing’s mission to enhance the reliability, security, and scalability of global monitoring systems through IoT connectivity tools, we are focused on expanding sensor integrations with our Digital Data Logger. Engineers can deploy digital sensors in connectivity-challenged areas, enabling wireless data streaming from up to 15 km away, all while ensuring minimal maintenance for the data loggers.

We’re excited to introduce a range of updates and new digital integrations to our portfolio. Our digital logger now supports the Sisgeo 360° Range Calibration Process, Octave Ultrasonic Flow Meter, and ZCT-CX300 In-Place Inclinometer, enhancing monitoring capabilities across various applications.

Sisgeo 360º Range Calibrated IPIs & Inclination sensors

Our Digital Logger is now compatible with Sisgeo’s new 360° Range Calibration Process on all three axes, which is being progressively implemented to allow the installation of inclinometers in any position. 

This extended inclination measuring range has required new compatibility modes in Worldsensing, which include reports inclination measured in degrees on 3 or 2 axes.

Sisgeo is gradually implementing this new calibration process and will provide detailed information regarding the reported axes for the above compatibility modes, as well as guidance on which mode to select depending on the type of installation. For more information, please contact Sisgeo.

Octave Ultrasonic Flow Meter by Arad 

We’re excited to announce the integration with the Octave Ultrasonic Water Meter by Arad and commercialized in North America by Netafim. The Octave, known for its precision and reliability, features superior hydraulics and a battery life of up to 15 years, making it an excellent choice for utilities, waterworks, industrial, and agricultural applications.

This integration enables seamless communication through Modbus, allowing for more information than what is provided through pulse output, which can be read using our Piconode Data Logger. This digital integration also reports temperature, flow direction, and forward and reverse volumes.

Together, the Octave Ultrasonic Water Meter and our Digital Data Logger, both battery-operated, form a robust solution for remote, unattended monitoring systems, ensuring accurate and continuous data collection even in the most demanding environments.

ZCT-CX300 in-place inclinometer system by Shanghai Zhichuan Electronic Technology

The ZCT-CX300 in-place inclinometer system is designed for geological monitoring, construction, and civil engineering, and offers measurement accuracy of up to 0.01 degrees within a wide range of ± 30 degrees.

With features such as IP68-level waterproofing, the ZCT-CX300 ensures reliable performance in challenging environments. Paired with our low-power Digital Logger, this integration provides a robust solution for remote, unattended monitoring, ensuring continuous and accurate data collection across various applications.

Custom Integrations for water management applications

We’d like to share a tailored solution for water management applications utilizing a Worldsensing Digital Logger. We’ve integrated the Littelfuse RM2000 motor saver and a WD4X Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) from Worldwide Electric to enable wireless monitoring of motor behavior by reading system registers remotely. This cost-effective solution is ideal for assessing pumping stations with Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) and pump protection systems, such as motor-monitoring devices in remote locations, providing reliable performance even in challenging environments.
