Event: Loadsensing Product Owner presents in Poppi, Italy

July 2016

Worldsensing at “Looking back and thinking forward” – the International Course on Geotechnical and Structural Monitoring
42 leading international companies in the field of geotechnical and structural monitoring converged in Poppi in June 2016, participating in the course, showing their latest products and technical solutions.
More than 330 delegates came from 48 countries to join us in the Castle of Poppi.
Juan PerezLoadsensing Product Owner participated as a speaker in the Geotechnical and Structural Monitoring event to talk about the company’s monitoring solutions and dataloggers, which can be adapted to most commonly used sensors within the civil and geotechnical industries. “All our devices have been designed to meet the requirements of the most demanding sectors, and have been implemented in many groundbreaking projects”, said Juan Perez.
In this 3rd International Course on Geotechnical and Structural Monitoring, new trends in offshore monitoring and data transmission and management were explained and a number of use cases and lessons learned were presented by experts and exhibitors.
Juan Perez also presented some of the operational benefits of Worldsensing’s Loadsensing LS-G6, geotechnical solution:   providing wireless datalogging with true long range capabilities (up to 15 km) that may be used for data acquisition in almost any sensing application. Compatible sensor interfaces include voltage, vibrating wire, 4-20mA, full Wheatstone bridge, potentiometer, thermistor and RS485, and most types of sensor applications are supported, including inclinometers, tiltmeters, strain gages, load cells, extensometers, crackmeters, piezometers and water quality probes.
