Worldsensing partner awarded for a mobility project in Colombia.
SKG Tecnologia, Worldsensing’s partner in the Mobility solution deployment in Bogota, Colombia, was awarded the 2018 Innovation Award during the Smart City Business America Congress and Expo Gala Dinner at Palácio dos Bandeirantes in São Paulo, Brazil.
Smart City Business America Congress & Expo, now in its sixth edition, is considered as one of the most important smart city events in the Americas. This year’s event had speakers, entrepreneurs and government officials from Brazil and from various countries, who discussed solutions for the future of cities.
The award-winning Mobility project implemented by Worldsensing together with SKG Tecnologia in Bogota consisted of a detailed analysis of the city’s traffic and transportation pain points, identification of available and required resources, planning for the system architecture and roll-out and finally the deployment of the recommended solution.
SKG Tecnologia was also Worldsensing’s partner for an ITS project on the first intelligent road in Colombia which won for Cundinamarca the Indigo2017 prize by the Colombian Ministry of Technology and Mintic.
