Software Delivery Manager

As Software Delivery Manager at Worldsensing, your goal is to deliver compelling and elegant software solutions to our customers by understanding and unlocking the full capabilities of Worldsensing’s product portfolio.

Main responsibilities

The ideal candidate will confidently be responsible to define, direct, optimize, coordinate and share compelling project plans, maintain superb attention to detail, collaboratively develop and define the scope and timeline together with customers and Worldsensing’s Product Engineering team, to make sure projects are successfully delivered and executed whilst also adding value to our ecosystem. The candidate will work closely with internal and external engineering teams to develop the software solution and be the internal champion for this part of the solution.  

You’re perfect for this role if you are versatile, you’re able to plan and define technical scope for developers and customers in an easy to digest format, as well as apply consistent standards and elevate the overall quality of our work; love both high-level strategy and hands-on tasks; understand design thinking and user experience and thrive in a flat, fast-moving organization that uses light-weight process to have a huge impact.

Here are a few of the things you’ll do:

  • Take control of the ongoing projects
  • Define scope (functional) and help architect (technical) solutions for each project
  • Own the software delivery process of the projects end-to-end
  • Work closely with Customers, Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to anticipate and prioritize new projects
  • Own the project and backlog for the engineering team
  • Be part of the product team and ensure that the projects being built fit into the product ecosystem
  • Help to continuously improve WorldSensing software project and product management processes

What we are looking for

  • You communicate with clarity and precision. We care about this almost as much as your technical ability;
  • Experience in the management of agile IT projects for big customers;
  • Experience in working with agile engineering teams to deliver software;
  • You’re passionate about IoT & technical challenges. There should be something you know more about than anyone on our team;
  • International experience – cultural adaptation;
  • Strong communication skills and a creative approach to building professional client relationships;
  • Experience in similar positions;
  • Master’s degree preferably in Computer Science or Telecom and a strong preference to work within a B2B environment, is a plus;
  • Willingness to travel;
  • Strong analytical skills, the ability to use your skills in analyzing and understanding customer processes, creating concept solutions;
  • Strong language skills in English and a native/bilingual level of Spanish.
