Ignasi has been managing and facilitating EU projects related to railway-based mobility for the past 5 years. He has published more than 20 scientific papers while working with the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (C.S.I.C.) and has lead the design and deployment of various technological projects. He holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering and completed PAD Operations in ESADE and a marketing programme in Ashridge.

Marco Bocci, PMP

Instrumentation and monitoring coordinator, Eiffage Kier Ferrovial BAM

Marco is currently leading 2 approved HS2 innovation projects on remote sensing and machine learning applied to geotechnical modelling for EKFB JV, the main works contractor appointed to design and build HS2 section C2 / C3. He has almost 10 years experience in the instrumentation and monitoring sector and has worked on major infrastructure projects such as Crossrail, Victoria Station Upgrade and Tottenham Court Road Station Upgrade in various roles both technical and project management.

Juan Peset Iribarren

Head of R&D, COMSA Corporación

Joan is a civil engineer with more than 20 years of experience in the construction sector. He is currently responsible for the conception, management and financing of R&D projects for COMSA. He is a professor at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and has participated as an independent expert in the evaluation process of the TEN-T, CEF and Fast Track to Innovation calls for proposals.

Marco Di Mauro

Marco has worked with sensors and technology manufacturers as well as services and engineering companies for over 15 years. He was the monitoring and control segment manager at Leica Geosystems before he moved to Worldsensing to oversee primarily the UK market. He holds a master’s degree in telecommunications engineering and is passionate about IoT and theoretical physics.

Angela Lluch

Geologist and Civil engineer, Worldsensing

Angela has over ten years experience working as a consultant of geotechnical instrumentation & monitoring. She has been involved in major tunnelling projects first in Spain and later in Singapore. She is now a wireless monitoring advisor and provides support on the user experience for Loadsensing, the globally leading wireless monitoring system by Worldsensing.

Ignasi has been managing innovation projects for public entities, technological centres and companies for the past 10 years. He now works on the development of products and solutions that may be included in the Worldsensing portfolio. He holds a degree in Computer Science from the Technical University of Catalonia and Masters (MSc) in Cognitive Systems, Interaction and Media from the Pompeu Fabra University.
