The townhall of Sant Cugat, one of the largest satellite cities to Barcelona, has chosen Worldsensing’s smart parking solution as their preferred solution to solve the problem of monitoring load/unload zones and guide citizens and professionals alike.
“Sant Cugat has nominated Worldsensing as their Global Living-Labs Smart City Winner 2011 for their innovative smart urban transit solution FastPrk,” announced in Stockholm in May 2011.
After some initial discussions with the truly advanced and forward-thinking municipality, a problem area has been pinpointed where the smart parking sensors have been installed. The installation was carried out by a third party in a professional, timely and efficient manner since Worldsensing’s solution has been optimized for the use in the field.
