Ignasi holds a PhD in Physics and has received business training from Harvard Business School and IESE Business School in the US. He manages the company with a focus on accelerating growth, evolving the overall strategy to adapt to the company’s changing needs, and ensuring the maximum performance of business operations. He focuses on creating strategic partnerships with companies who can greatly benefit from Worldsensing’s innovative and distinctive solutions.
Ignasi helps manage key personnel, participates in decisions on organizational structure and designed the company's technology roadmap.
His particular contributions to the company are: vision, technological expertise, improvements in business processes, operational strategies, IT integration and the implementation of business systems.
Raoul Roverato joined Worldsensing after working for 20 years with telecommunications company Orange. The five years prior to his incorporation into the Worldsensing team, Raoul was the Managing Director for Orange Spain's Business Services Division. In this position, he managed to position Orange in the number one spot in the SME market, as well as in the Internet of Things (IoT) and Machine-to-Machine Communication (M2M) business areas. Prior to this he held the position of Executive Vice President for New Business Growth at Orange’s headquarters in Paris, where he led several initiatives, including the launch of Orange’s pay-tv service in France in 2008, in addition to accelerating revenue growth in business areas such as digital music distribution, games and e-health.
Raoul brings a wealth of experience to Worldsensing in the areas of business development, customer and channel management, product launches, customer service and operations.
His core responsibility is to drive sales and push forward the quality of services for the two business lines of the company.
David Deprez has over 20 years experience as entrepreneur and advisor of fast-growing companies. His specialty is to transform vision into strategy, strategy into a business plan and raising the funding to execute it. He has played a key role in raising more than 20M€ of venture capital over the past 10 years.
After having accumulated experience as a technologist and strategist with Accenture in the UK and USA, he co-founded multiple companies including Infomesh and Gextech in the UK, and Chrysalis and Appically in Spain.
As Worldsensing's CFO, David oversees the company's financial management and control, HR management and Legal Affairs. As Head of Business Development, he leads the company's Marketing, Innovation, Fundraising and M&A activities.
David has a dual degree in Business Administration and Computer Science from K.U. Leuven. He has received further business training from IESE Business School in Barcelona. David is also an angel investor and is fluent in 4 languages.
Jordi holds a Masters in Computer Science and is the author of several high impact publications and patents.
He started off as a developer of embedded systems, hardware design and software architecture. Currently, he is head of operations in the Engineering Department and is responsible for creating Worldsensing products, starting with prototypes and developing them into full market-proven industrial solutions.
Francesc Domingo is a highly talented and charismatic executive with broad international vision. He holds an Electronic Engineering degree and a Masters degree in Project Management from the University of Navarra. He is leading the Solution Sales activities of the company. He has been developing international projects in the traffic and industrial sectors for more than 10 years. With a strong technical background, he focusses on business and technological strategy in international markets.
In the past 3 years he has demonstrated his leadership by managing the Mobility Divison’s growth into various markets and has also built a highly motivated team for expanding Worldsensing’s international network. His success, promoted him to lead the complex sales processes under the company’s business development area.

XAVIER VILAJOSANA - Co-founder
Holds an MsC in Computer Science Engineering from UPC and PhD in Computer Science from the Open University of Catalonia (UOC). He is currently PI of the Wireless Networks Research Group at IN3 - UOC. Xavier is one of the main promoters of low power wireless technologies, and member of different IETF standardization groups. He holds more than 30 reference journal publications, 15 patents and 4 standard proposals.
MISCHA DOHLER - Co-founder
is Industrial Engineer from ICAI and Agricultural Engineer from Polytechnic University of Madrid. He has a decade-long extensive experience as an investment analyst at the Foundation for Innovation Jose Manuel Entrecanales, specialized in financial risk.
JUAN LOPEZ SANTAMARIA
Juan has extensive experience in the world of technology, working first as a research engineer at The University of Massachusetts Amherst, as a Project manager and Business developer at Indra Systems in the defense and security division, and finally at Kibo Ventures as an Investment Manager, where he has been part of the team since February 2013.
During his time at Indra, Juan led various projects to equip naval platforms with state-of-the-art defense systems. He also engaged in multiple international initiatives working in business development efforts in Australia and Europe as well as actively participating in joined collaborations with US technology companies to develop and design systems and full solutions to increase Indra’s global offer.
Currently, he is a board member in various technology driven startups and as part of Kibo Ventures’ team he is involved in dealflow generation, portfolio management, and execution of investment and exit operations.
Juan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science as a Telecommunication Engineer at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst where he graduated Magna Cum laude and a Master’s degree in Corporate Finance at CUNEF – Colegio Universitario de Estudios Financieros -, Madrid.
